An extended system of paths is connecting the various parts of the settlement. These paths are, wherever possible, located within the biotopes. They allow pedestrians to cross the village with as little contact with the motorized traffic as possible. The focus of the paths is always finally the village square, where further transport can be provided. Along the paths there is a wide range of scenery. From habitual zones over retention areas and extended water catchment areas, the by passer, following the environmental guidelines, can move and rest along these paths without restriction. To prevent motorized traffic from entering the paths, stairs will be installed wherever possible. The restricted water catchment areas deserve a special care and are therefore fenced in. Nevertheless, paths are crossing these areas, which certainly should be used by the public, although with the request not to leave the paths while crossing the restricted areas. Revolving gates mark the entrances into these areas. They will be locked whenever necessary. The reason for such precaution will be explained under the topic of "Potable water".
